Jeffrey Allen Mitchell, 58, of Oxnard California, passed away at 4:21 a.m. Wednesday January 1, 2020 at St John's Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 15, 1961 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Frederick and Vivian (Scott) Mitchell. Jeffrey was a 1980 graduate of Western Hills High School of Cincinnati, Ohio. He then received his Bachelor's degree in Accounting, at the University of Cincinnati in 1983. He was currently employed at Nusil Technology in Carpinteria, California, where he had been working since 2011. Jeffrey loved to travel around the world. You can see some of his adventures at traveladventuresbyjeff.shutterfly.com. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his brother Richard Mitchell and sister Marilyn Bucher. He is survived by nieces and nephews and many close friends. As Jeff wished, he will be scattered at sea off the coast of Ventura County, a place he really loved. Memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
