James (Jim) Lee Braden, born October 1939 to David and Ada Braden of Compton, California passed away peacefully in his home April 27, 2024
In his early years he drove a truck for the family business, Braden Trucking. Then moved to Santa Maria, working for Koyama Farm Truckin, where he drove from the Bay Area to Los Angeles. He then met the love of his life Alice Ann Braden and married in 1959. In 1967 he joined the Operating Engineers working for OST Trucks and Crane and Offshore Crane where he was known as Jimmy B. In his off time he and his wife Alice would restore homes from the North Side of Oxnard. Jim retired from work in 2005. Jim joins his wife Alice interment and is survived by his 3 children David, Jimmy and Tina, 5 grandchildren Robin, Eric, Alexis, Rebecca, & Tanner and 6 great grandchildren Alec, Nena, Dominick, Sophia, David, Mia and Baby Derrick.
