Shirley Ann Ruklic passed away in Eagle, Idaho, October 29th at 1:30 in the afternoon on a nice sunny day after a long illness.
She was born on August 16, 1937, in Illinios to Jack and Jerry McGuire. She was an only child raised mostly by Aunts and her Grandmother, Omah Hudson, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Shirley moved to Ventura, California around the age of 11 and later marrying Edward Congleton III. They had 4 sons together: Allen Congleton (Lyndie), McCall, Idaho, Randy Congleton, Gary Congleton (Suzan), Haines, Alaska, and Craig Congleton, California.
She was preceeded in death by Edward Congleton III (1984), son, Randy Congleton (1981) and Mother, Jerry McGuire (2008).
Shirley was remarried in 1989 to Tom Ruklic and was a restuaranteur where the two of them worked until retirement in Santa Barbara, California. After retirement they moved to McCall, Idaho, where they built their dream home.
The two of them enjoyed traveling around the world, skiing, gardening and many carpentry projects. She was the decorator and Tom the furniture builder.
Shirley had many dear friends: John & Sandy Gately, Paul & Betty Aiello and Charlie & Maggie Dunn all of Ventura, California.
There were many family get-togethers with Tom's family: Gene & Ugo Sparaglia (Jennifer , Mike & Ann) and Pat & Jim Hargrow (Julie, Dale, Mathew, Isabel, Chris and Lisa).
She was a very committed Christian attending Ventura Missionary Church in California and True Hope Fellowship in Boise, Idaho.
She was a devoted wife to Tom for 32 years and an amazing mother and grandmother.
She leaves behind her 3 sons, step-daughter, Cindy (David), 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
